Quality Control

Action Spring Co. Inc. is committed to providing our customers with the highest quality parts available. Our quality control department has the latest in testing equipment which includes SPC and SQC.

A first article inspection is done on each order before the order can be run. In process inspections are performed throughout the manufacturing of the order. A final inspection is performed on all orders before the order is allowed to leave the facility to ensure that customers receive the finest quality parts made to their specifications.

Our receiving department inspects all incoming raw material and outside processing to ensure that the items meet our requirements as well as the customer's. Reports are kept on all incoming material and outside processing which provides information to us so we will be assured of receiving from the best sources. Sources not meeting our requirements will no longer be used.

Action Spring Co. Inc. is not ISO 9000 certified but several of our customers perform yearly audits on our facility as well as our quality procedures to assure that we are following the guidelines in our quality manual. Our quality record speaks for itself with below .01% rejection rate and high customer satisfaction.

Engineering

Action Spring Co. Inc.’s engineering department has over 65 years experience in designing springs, wire forms and metal stampings. Every new spring is checked using our spring design software to ensure that the customer’s print will hold up to what the customer needs. This software allows us to detect potential problems with a spring before it is manufactured. If there is a problem, we will design a spring to meet the customer requirements and we will notify the customer of the results
